Rope Access Technician Level 3
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Level 3 rope access course is an advanced course for candidates who already have an IRATA Level 2 certificate and possess the required work experience.
DURATION
5 days
WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN
To be capable of site safety supervision for rope access projects;
- To be conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation;
- To demonstrate the manoeuvres, skills and knowledge required of IRATA Levels 1 and 2 technicians;
- To complete advanced rescue techniques and rescue management (advanced rescue, tensioned ropes, short link, rescue in descent passing a knot, breaking into tight rope, large re-belay);
- To undertake pre-use equipment inspection, and have an awareness of equipment management;
- To complete method statements and risk assessments;
EXAM
Practical and written assessment over 1 day
